We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 96, Gladys Juanita Lafoy (Greenville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gladys had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Gladys may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence LaFoy and Edna Brown LaFoy; her son Clarence Gary Glenn; and her brother Charles LaFoy. She is survived by: her grandson Eric Glenn (Shannon Glenn); her great grandchildren, Ryan and Katie; and her nephew Randy LaFoy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Brush Creek Baptist Church.
