He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Young Shorey; and his children, Pamela Shorey Jahns, Gregory Day Shorey III (Patty), Cynthia Shorey White (Steve) and Amy Shorey Grace.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Justin Tyler Millwood, Leia Jahns Herring, Jeffery D. White, Taylor D. Shorey and Michael G. White.
