He is survived by: his children, Lee Whitesides (Tracy) of Tifton, Georgia, Linda Shadinger (Tommy) of Carrollton and Karen Burrell (Brian) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ches Whitesides, Clay Whitesides (Lakin), Beck Shadinger, Anna Sanders (Casey) and Jack Shadinger; and his great grandchildren, Carter Sanders, Bonnie Sanders, Bryn Whitesides and Sylvie Whitesides. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
