He was predeceased by: his parents, James Travis Potere and Dorothy Marie Matarazzo Potere; and his grandparents, Alfredo and Dorothy Matarazzo. He is survived by: his wife Anna Gillespie Potere of Greenville; his children, Natalie Marie Potere of Greenville and Nathan James Potere of Greenville; his siblings, Ann Marie Potere and Michael Wesley Potere; his half-brother John Stagliano; his nieces and nephews, Mikey Potere, Andrew Blank, Adrienne Fretz, Shelby Gillespie, Wyatt Gillespie, Dalton Gilespie, Cora Drake and Abby Drake; and his parents-in-law, Susan and Steve Gillespie.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brookwood Church (580 Brookwood Point Pl, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
