He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Tripp and Betty R. Tripp; his brother Mike Tripp; his brother-in-law Scott Wilhide; and his nephew Chase Tripp.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Goff Tripp; his daughter Jessica Tripp Bryson of Columbia, SC; his stepsons, Robin Biro of Atlanta, GA, Eric Moore of Rock Hill, SC and Alan Moore of Anderson, SC; and his siblings, Chuck Tripp of Simpsonville, SC and Beth Wilhide of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenville Community Church (38 David St, Greenville, SC 29609).
