She is survived by: her husband Valentin Rios; her daughter Susan Dalton Benjamin of Birmingham, AL; her brother James M. Longshore of Spartanburg; her stepchildren, Sergio Rios, Veronica Rios of Tovar, Norma Rios of Aguilera, Juan Rios and Carlos Rios; and her grandchildren, Michele Aguilera, Joshua Tovar and Aedan Tovar.
A memorial may be made to Morningside Baptist Church.
