He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Woodruff and Martha D. Woodruff. He is survived by: his significant other Charlotte M. Woodruff; and his pets, Sadie and Luci.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dementia Society of America, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
