He is survived by: his daughter Mary Amback Nelson; his father-in-law Dave Christian; his wife Kathie Rimer Nelson; his sister Jan Nelson (Micky); his children, Mark Nelson (Rose), Kim Speer (Richard) and Dawn Christian; his stepchildren, John Harmon III (Carolina), Eric Harmon (Michelle), Amy Glander (John), Jennie Martin (Wesley), Ashley Berryhill (Thomas) and John Harmon Jr.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Nelson (Oliva), Deijia-Lee Nelson, Jessica Barrett (John), Jennifer Richardson (Jim), Jimmy Davis (Lisa), Shannon Dempsey (Brandon), Caitlin Eunpu (Jon), Devin, Kaleb, Eli Aurand, Ian, Jacob, Nathan and Hannah Glander; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Alaina Davis, Bryson Dempsey, Gabriel, Elijah Nelson, Aiden Craft, Alexis, Jaden Richardson and Liam Eunpu; and his sibling's children, Brad, Ben Heartman and Clara Heartman.
