He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Fred Richardson and Martha Ann Sims Richardson. He is survived by: his son Joel D. Penigar; his siblings, Bennie Richardson, Freddy Richardson, Debra Drennon, Timothy Richardson, Margaret Richardson and Sherwin Richardson; his close friends, Sherry Robinson, Fredricka, Patrick Yancy, Jim Jefferson and Mike Cureton; and his cousins, Joel, I and Beth. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
