He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ferguson and Henrietta Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Fleming Ferguson; his children, Donna Slaton (Hunter Slaton, Jr.) and Joe Ferguson (Veronica Moore); his grandchildren, Samantha Slaton and Hunter Slaton, III (Carly Lively); and his siblings, Marybelle Davis and Billy Ferguson.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601).
