He is survived by: his wife Marla H Libby; his son John Paul Libby; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth D Libby; his granddaughter Nora Libby of Greenville; his siblings, Paula Finger (John) of Greenville and Carl Libby (Sherri) of Bethesda; his sister-in-law Cheryl Zimmerman of Greenville; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Rouprich, Amy Gee (Jonathan), Perry Gantt, Sam Gantt, Nathan Zimmerman and Kendra Zimmerman.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to TreesUpstate or a charity of one's choice.
