It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Whitmire (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe A Whitmire and Marie Whitmire (Gaillard); and his children, Dustin and Perri. He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Perry); his children, Heather Boone (Danny) and Patrick (Cris); and his brother David of Athens, GA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
