She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Swartz and Eula Swartz; and her husband Samuel Shutters. She is survived by: her children, Mark Shutters (Carolyn) and Lynn Shutters (Leif Sorensen); her sister Anna Mae Ortgies (Howard); and her nieces and nephews, Henrik Nissen, Wade Ortgies, Heather Menduke and Anne Nissen.
