She was predeceased by: her parents, Archer Dickerson Smith, Jr. and Meta "Babs" Boykin Barnwell Smith; and her brother Archer Dickerson Smith, III. She is survived by: her husband David Darlington Armstrong; her daughter Sally Boykin Armstrong of Greenville, SC; her sister-in-law Rev. Doris Graf Smith of Clarksville, GA; her niece Margaret Smith Lindler (Adam) of Gainesville, GA; and her nephew Dr. Archer Dickerson Smith, IV (Betsy) of Northbrook, IL. She is also survived by 4 great nephews.
