He is survived by: his wife Adele Lanford Freeman; his sister Helen Hoover (Max); his children, Michael Bradford Freeman, Jr. (Ashley), Laura Lee Freeman and C. Bryan Freeman; his nephews, Mark Osteen (Eileen) and Roger Osteen (Pam); his stepgrandchildren, Madison Burke, Christian Burke, Joshua Bell, Emily Bell and Georgia Bell; and his caregivers, Christie, Linda, Loretta, Myra, Patricia and Keela.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Washington St., Greenville, SC 29601 or a charity of your choice.
