He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Davidson. He is survived by: his father Roy Herd of Texas; his sister Cindy Coleman (Greg) of Anderson, SC; his nephew Dustin Coleman (Mary) of Pendleton, SC; his niece Amanda Davis (Mark) of Anderson, SC; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Coleman, Caleb Coleman, Emma Davis and Addie Davis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina.
