She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Clardy; her parents, Odell Shipman and Mary Hamby Shipman; her daughter Alicia Clardy; and her brothers, Jacob C. Hamby and Edgar E. Shipman.
She is survived by: her son John Clardy (Wayne Davis); her granddaughters, Emily Bonner (William Bonner, Jr.) and Makenzy Skidmore (Dominick Skidmore); her great grandchild Lindsey Grace Bonner; and her siblings, Louise Shipman, Joann Duncan and Raymond Shipman (Doris). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
