She was predeceased by : her parents, Gonzalo Guzman and Teresa Echevarria Guzman. She is survived by : her husband Jose Ortiz; and her children, Marisela Guzman, Silvia Guzman, Jose Ortiz, Jr., Cesar Ortiz and Victor Ortiz.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the San Sebastian Catholic Church (2300 Old Buncombe Rd, Greenville, SC 29609).
