She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Edward Pruitt, Sr.; her parents, Hugh Cleophus and Ruby Browning Wood; her son Carl "Eddie" Pruitt; and her siblings, Elaine Jackson, Mildred Wood, Catherine Rice, Frances Young, Hugh Wood and Harold Wood.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Edgewood Church of Christ (200 Edgewood Dr, Greenville, SC 29605). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
