She was predeceased by: her parents, Onis Perry and Hazel Perry; and her husband Charles Melvin Tanner. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Kelly; her niece Laura Kelly Owens (Randall); her nephews, Russ Kelly (Suzanne) and Jeffrey Kelly (Shawna); her daughter Melissa Tanner Dietel (Warren); and her grandson Tanner Dietel. She is also survived by two great-nephews and five great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church (207 Mitchell Rd, Greenville, SC 29615). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
