She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Taylor and Edith Jones Taylor. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Lewallen (John William "Billy"); her grandchildren, John Curtis Lewallen (Danielle Burns-Lewallen) and Lauren Lewallen Wampole; her great grandchildren, Cheston John Lewallen, Hayden Grace Lewallen and Skylar Faith Wampole; her sisters, Sue Taylor Paris and Sylvia McKinney; and her brothers-in-law, Clyde McKinney and Marion Paris.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Way Baptist Church, 4113 Old Buncombe Rd., Greenville, SC 29617 in Nancy's memory, honoring her love for music and her faith.
