He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Cannon Bowser; his parents, Elmer H. Bowser and Daisy Barker Bowser; and his siblings, Ralph, Ray Bowser and Margaret Priddy.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Annette Bowser of Roanoke, VA; his siblings, Ernest, Nancy Bowser of Point Pleasant, WV, David, Gloria Bowser of Pueblo, CO and Debbie Given of Hampstead, NC; and his caregiver Billie Clayborne Threatt. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
