He was predeceased by: his wife Analee Hudson Doney; his parents, Hilda Pauline and Calvin Scott Doney, Sr.; and his brother Calvin "Scott" Doney, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Jane), Cynthia, Nathan and John Doney (Joey). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
