He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Nathan Murtaugh (Jennifer) of Charleston, SC, Rick Murtaugh (Heather) of Greenville, SC, Maggie Berning (Tom) of Largo, FL and Emily Ballenger (Henry) of Greer, SC; his sister Mary Muth Mitchell of Columbia, SC; and his grandchildren, Bradley Murtaugh, Abby Murtaugh, Brooklyn Berning, Brady Berning, Piper Murtaugh, Charlotte Murtaugh and Ricky Murtaugh.
