He is survived by: his son Tommy Cox (Paula) of Greenville, SC; his stepson Floyd Whitfield of Holly Hills, FL; and his sister Patsy Rowland of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
