He was predeceased by: his fathers, Al and Ronnie; and his sons, Robert Jason Dickert and Justin E. Mosteller. He is survived by: his wife Sherry W. Dickert; his children, Ronald E. "Chip" Dickert, Jr. (Amy), Crystal D. Harper and Rachel L. Robinson (Chris); his daughters-in-law, Amy C. Dickert and Melissa R. Mosteller; his grandchildren, Chely Campbell (Huff), Aidan, Brenna Harper, Kendra, Emilee Mosteller, Colin, Meyer and Macie Robinson; and his siblings, Bruce Dickert, Allen Messier (Beverly), Diane Olson (Eric), Steve Bright and Stan Bright. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A reception was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Agape Care Hospice.
