He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch C. Goodwin and Lottie Goodwin; his former wife Gwendolyn; and his wife Harriet Oliver. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Goodwin (Claudia) and Richard Goodwin (Lacy); his foster son John Loftis; his sons, William Oliver and John Oliver (Lauren); his grandchildren, Andrew (Nakita), Samuel (River), Robert, Gwendolyn, Katherine Goodwin, Sarah and William Oliver; his great grandchildren, Starlyn, Kaylyn, Hunter, Sebastian, Charlie, Wyatt, Serenity, Genesis, Harmony, Aaron, Ethron, James and Maeve; and his great great grandchild Theodore.
