He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Barton Sr. and Maude Anderson Barton; and his wife Joyce McDaniel Barton. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Reem (Marvin) of Sweet Valley, PA and Paula Barton of Taylors, SC; his grandchildren, Melanie Taylor (Tim) of Granbury, TX and Michael Reem (Sarah) of Sweet Valley, PA.; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Dabney, Finley Taylor, Silas, Isaiah, Annabeth, Malachi, Naomi and Caleb Reem; his siblings, Betty Tompkins of Greenville, SC, Joyce Blackstone, Phyllis Blackstone, Sherwood Barton and Gloria Dinsmore; and his brother-in-law Wayne McDaniel (Pat) of Caribou, ME.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scholarship Fund at Bob Jones University or to Gospel Fellowship Association.
