Stephen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Stephen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Stephen will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Huffaker and Arlene Huffaker (Fooken). He is survived by: his wife Ann Huffaker; his daughters, Angie Borkat (Jarrod) of Gaithersburg, MD and Lyndsay Keller (Heath) of St. Augustine, FL; his brother Dennis Huffaker (Jan) of Surprise, AZ; and his pet Harper. He is also survived by grandchildren; some of the cutest great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lutheran Hospice of Greenville (https://www.lutheranhomesscfoundation.org) and asks that you honor his memory by taking a walk in a state park, pouring a glass of Scotch, planning that trip you've been longing to take, and telling those close to you how much you love them every day.
