It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Autrey of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Steve may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steve touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Autrey and Lydia Phedonia Fennell Rainey. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rogers Autrey; his children, Scott Rogers Autrey of Powdersville and Shannon Autrey McNamara (Cliff) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchild Ramey Jane McNamara; and his close friend Sharon.
