She is survived by: her children, Dennis "Denny" Dempsey, Jr. of Taylors and Cynthia "Cindy" Dempsey of Greenville; her sister Mary Sheldon (Chris); and her grandchildren, Parker Dempsey and McKellar Dempsey.
