We are sad to announce that, on May 8, 2025, at the age of 85, Thomas Fletcher Batson of Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, H. B. Batson and Eva Bridwell Batson; his wife Gloria Rollins Batson; his grandson Bradley Wooten; and his brother Hugh Bridwell Batson (India).

He is survived by: his children, Kim Batson Garvilla (John) of Missouri, Thomas F. Batson Jr. (Sarah) of Greenville and Shannon Batson Terry (J. P.) of New Jersey; his stepchildren, Carl Wooten (Jonet), Tammy Wooten Claussen (Buck) and Richard Wooten IV; and his grandchildren, Chandler, Thomas, Addison, Rollins, Eva, Patrick (Meredith), Samantha (Jack), Joshua, Danial, Caleb, Ashley (Robert), Chad, Kaylee (Wally), Richard (Maddie) and AnnMarie (Gregory).
