He was predeceased by: his wife Kim Freeman Theilmann; his parents, Herbert Theilmann and Mabel Theilmann; his brothers, Robert and Michael Theilmann; his niece Emily Theilmann; and his pet Lucy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jay Theilmann, Sue Peterson and Julie Benedetto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, his wishes were that donations be made to the Kim Freeman Theilmann Scholarship Fund.
