He is survived by: his wife Norma Shirley Brewer Travers; his children, Sabrina Wilkey and Thomas David Travers; and his brother Frank Travers. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six stepchildren, one step-grandson, and numerous additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
