He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Wise and Mattie Wise; and his brothers, Clarence Wise, Clyde Wise and Wayne Wise.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Wise; his sons, Michael Wayde Wise (Alicia) of Hendersonville, NC, Gary Allen Wise (Sara) of Greenville, SC and Jason Patrick Wise (Janna) of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron and Callee Wise; and his sisters, Lois Wise Bennett of Lincoln Park, MI and Dorothy Wise Authier of Leavenworth, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (3931 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
