He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Cox and Hester Louise Heatherly Cox; his brother James Cox; and his daughter Nickie McSwain. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cox; his daughter Kimberly Clemons (Mike); his brother Thomas Cox; his grandsons, Zachary Chandler, Sean McSwain, Cole Clemons (Laynie) and Luke Clemons; and his great grandchild Dakota Chandler.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
