William L. Peake Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William L. Peake Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Peake, Sr. and Mary Magdalene Peake; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Peake. He is survived by: his wife L. Gale Peake; his child Casey Peake Wright; his grandson Jacob Wright; and his children, Lauren Peake, Steven Edwards (Rhonda), Renae Morgan (Jeff), Dawn Moree (Chris) and Sonya Donnahoo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609).
