It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Gillion of Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Smith and Sally Dutton Smith; her children, Joyce Ables, Larry and Curtis Allen; and her sister Annie Laura Belle McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Dorn (Billy), Linda Griffin, Kathy Hagan, Terry Allen (Cheryl) and Ronnie Allen (Donna). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home and Crematory (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29648). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
