It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Owensby of Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Gwen Boone; and her nephew Haynes Morrow. She is survived by: her son Zak Owensby; her father James "Buddy" Hastings, Jr.; her stepmother Vickie; her sister Beth Morrow (Trey); her nephews, Andrew and Ben Morrow; her stepparents, Joyce and Marion Boone; her aunts, Patsy, Shirley and Tric; her parents-in-law, Norma Jean and James "Jimmy" Owensby; Gary, Woody, Scotty and Amy.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Emerald Baptist Church, 110 Laurel Avenue East, Greenwood, SC 29649.
