He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Cox and Viola Knight Cox; and his siblings, Ruby Southerland, Arthur Cox and John Cox.

He is survived by: his children, Ivy Cox Darnell (Stacey) of Greenwood and Rodney Kent Cox (Stacie Wise) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Jarrod Pawlak, Lauren Pawlak and Anna Grace Cox; his siblings, Minnie Sue White of Abbeville, Harold Cox of Bowman, GA, Marvin Cox (Barbara) of Greenwood and Troy Cox (Nancy) of Greenwood; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Cox of Greenwood and Linda Cox of Greenwood.

Masks will be required and CDC guidelines for social distancing will be observed.
