He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Simpson, Sr. and Banna Nabors Simpson. He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Welborn of West Columbia, Steve Welborn of Athens, GA. and Michael Welborn (Beth) of Hodges. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
