With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Buddy Maus (Greenwood, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Maus and Ola Somers Maus; and his brothers, James Maus and Bobby Maus. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Simon" Maus; and his stepchildren, Amber "Missy" Hancock and Dick Goold.
He was a representative for the Boy Scouts Foundation where he instilled in young people the values of perseverance and respect for nature; a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.
