He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Widner and Ethel Sellars Widner; and his daughter-in-law Teala Widner. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Widener (Michael Reynolds) of Cambridge, MA and Steve Widner of Nashville, TN; his granddaughters, Julia Reynolds-Cuellar (Pedro), Catherine "Carrie" Allison Reynolds Meinke (Ricky) and Grace Catherine Widner; his great grandchildren, Simon and Gabriella Reynolds-Cuellar; and his brother Edwin Widener (Barbara) of Greer.
