It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Hamby (Greenwood, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloyd Leo Payne and Nancy Juanita Henry Haynes; and her siblings, Beverly Payne and Don Payne. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her son Ronald Dale Hamby (Annette) of Waterloo; her siblings, Vickie McDowell (Sam) of Greenwood and Aaron "Bo" Layer; and her granddaughters, Lisa Pridemore and Janie Pridemore. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
