She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Bennett Chastain and Gladys Garrett Chastain; her husband Joe; and her sister Allison Sims. She is survived by: her children, Angela "Angie" Henderson Barrett (Tim) of Greenwood and Joshua Ryan Henderson (Alison) of Hodges; her siblings, Janice Gilliam (Harold), Eugenia "Pinka" Eppley, Terry Chastain (Glenda) and Mark Chastain; her brother-in-law Ray Sims of Greenwood; and her grandchildren, Sommer Barrett, Parker Henderson and Owen Henderson.
