He was predeceased by: his father George Robert Scott; and his sister Elaine LaFountain. He is survived by: his mother Helen Farris Evans; his wife Theresa Scott; his children, Arica Scott, Shanda Scott, Charles Joshua Scott and Heather Bowie; and his sisters, Lillie Owings and Robin Bell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
