He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Trapp and Reanna. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Trapp; his children, Charles Richard Trapp (Rebecca) and Patti Zingg (Eric); his grandchildren, David Shourds (Brittany Cochran), Jessica Stressel-Trapp (Aubrey), Mikel "Jake" Luce (Lindsay), Justin Richard Trapp and Martina Marie Luce; his siblings, Shirley Cogar (Mike) and Herbert Edward Trapp, Jr. (Sue); and his close friend Bill (Nora). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Community Church of the Nazarene (2022 Cokesbury Rd, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
