It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Faulkner Thompson of Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Faulkner and Mattie Albea Faulkner; and her brothers, Hoyt Faulkner, Jr., William "Billy" Faulkner and Ray Alton Faulkner.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Nichols (Steve) of Greenwood and David Thompson (Sadina) of Prattville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Phillip Nichols (Abby), Lauren Gagliano (Mark) of Levi Thompson, J. D, Cody Thompson and Shane Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Makayla, Makenna Nichols, Victor and Vincent Gagliano.
