He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Hall and Agnes Horne Funderburk; his close friend Susan Sims; and his brother Steve Funderburk. He is survived by: his children, Shay Twiggs (Sammy), Chip Funderburk (Katie) and Wes Funderburk (Ashley); his sister Yvonne Nickles; his grandchildren, Mabrey Twiggs, Madison Twiggs, Evans, Mary Wynn Funderburk, Hattie, Lainey and Arlie Funderburk; his nieces, Heather Nimmons (Ken) and Stephanie Funderburk; his nephew John Funderburk; his great-niece Brittany Sims Dunlap (Terence); his great-nephew Brooks Sims; his friend James Williams (Julia); Rudy Mac, Calhoun Dunlap and Inez Cronic (Sammy Gunnells).
