She is survived by: her children, Francis Chesley Brooks, Nancy Brooks Newlon (Jon), Amy Brooks Van Gurp (Rick) and Mary Allison Brooks Pettigrew (John); her grandchildren, Jon Brooks Newlon, Nancy Caroline Newlon, Katherine Brooks Van (Katie), Anna Grace Van Gurp, Richard Emmett Van Gurp, Carolina Brooks Pettigrew and Amelia Way Pettigrew; and her great grandchildren, Camilla Elizabeth Newlon and Madeline Brooks Newlon.
